Richard Barbieri is the Senior Risk Operations Manager at Etsy, holding global responsibility for the prevention of, and response to, fraud, chargebacks, account takeovers, and phishing. He previously served as Manager of the US-based portion of the Risk Operations team. Prior to his time at Etsy, Richard held a variety of non-attorney positions at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, leaving as an Analyst in the Cybercrime and Identity Theft Bureau. Richard is an honors graduate of The George Washington University and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
